After a dramatic season finale, one fit for Hollywood, Bromley FC - the heroes of Hayes Lane - are set to stride into the 23/24 season, dressed in an impressive team kit thanks to their continued partnership with iconic Italian sportswear brand, Kappa.
16th June, 2023, UK: Kappa's UK & Ireland Teamwear business has undergone exciting changes, with a significant investment in its sports partnership list. This investment goes beyond just adding teams as it aims to establish a cultural and community-focused brand connection with partners, showcasing the unique flair of the creative heritage brand.
The management team at Bromley FC shared “Following on from a record points finish, and a spot in the National League Promotion Semi-Finals, our First Team will be setting their sights on promotion in the campaign ahead. With an impressive 17 players already committed to the Club for 2023/24, Andy Woodman will spend the Summer strengthening his ranks, ready for another push for promotion.
Our ever-growing Academy saw two scholars make their breakthrough into the First Team, Kellen Fisher and Ben Krauhaus, with the former making 25 League appearances and the latter netting his first professional goal.”
After discussing the plans and aspirations of the club in the coming season, the Kappa team has run with the feeling of home-grown talent and local grit in the designs of its upcoming Home and Away kits, with a creative approach that looks back on designs from the past to re-imagine the historic designs of the future.
The new season Home shirt will see elements from the traditional coat of arms, granted to the borough, which includes a quartered design, heraldic iconography and patterns, plus gold detailing that unites with the Kappa Omini logo. Whilst the Away shirt explores a modern take on the David Bowie narrative, a local icon, that was well received by fans previously, to really explore his unmistakable play with colours and 80’s design. Each shirt will be proudly emblazoned with ‘WE ARE BROMLEY’ on the back above the player’s name.
